11 Acts of Awesome in 2011
So, instead of dwelling on the rotten things that happened in 2011 (deaths, car stolen, etc)… I’ve decided to let all that crap go and recap on the awesomeness of 2011 instead!
- Carter Andrew Steen, born Aug 10, 2011. Quite possibly the only man I love more than Chris. :)
- Chris moved back from AZ in June 2011.
- Stepped up the quality time with family and old friends again.
- Losing weight and keeping it off!
- Still getting carded at bars at the tender age of 37. :)
- Kick-ass review at work, pays off with a more kick-ass merit increase!
- I SURVIVED the Warrior Dash!
- Learning the value of “me” time.
- Learning to let go of toxic people in my life to save my sanity.
- Learning that you can’t help the stupid, but you can certainly use them for great stories later
- Fantastic friendships at work make the chaos a lot more fun.
The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out and meet it.

Happy Birthday, Freddie! You were one of the greatest frontmen of all time… Or at least in my world.
Thank you for your sharing your voice with the world.
