My friend asked me to share this pic..it is of her close friends husband and their daughter. They are walking on base towards a bus to send him off for his deployment. Her and her friends are trying to make this picture go viral, not for them to become famous or anything of that sort, but to make a statement and remind people that everyday men and women are leaving their closest loved ones to fight for us. this gave me the chills… japan has made great recovery from that horrific tsunami… but life will never be the same.

His name of photo is Koo. Koo lived in Miyagi, Japan. he had a quake and tsunami disaster. his owner wrote a blog about Koo. but the blog stopped from a quake.
his owner died by tsunami and Koo went missing.
I drew imagining his growth because I wanted to see the grown-up Koo.
I would like to believe that he is alive. however, tsunami took such a hope.
Today marks 1 year since quake, tsunami disaster in Japan. the day, we lost many people, life. and the nuclear reactor is not solve. I wish rehabilitation from quake.

So, instead of dwelling on the rotten things that happened in 2011 (deaths, car stolen, etc)… I’ve decided to let all that crap go and recap on the awesomeness of 2011 instead!
- Carter Andrew Steen, born Aug 10, 2011. Quite possibly the only man I love more than Chris. :)
- Chris moved back from AZ in June 2011.
- Stepped up the quality time with family and old friends again.
- Losing weight and keeping it off!
- Still getting carded at bars at the tender age of 37. :)
- Kick-ass review at work, pays off with a more kick-ass merit increase!
- I SURVIVED the Warrior Dash!
- Learning the value of “me” time.
- Learning to let go of toxic people in my life to save my sanity.
- Learning that you can’t help the stupid, but you can certainly use them for great stories later
